Hey i checked the link. It's cool. I loved the trailer.
Ben Barnes is definitely the newest attraction in Prince Caspian.
Can't wait to see the movie.
10 days to go.
It's 7:00 pm on premier day, and my son and I have just returned from seeing the movie. In short, this movie is fantastic for any child over the age of about 10. Lots of battle scenes, but in the vein of the old westerns (no blood and gore). Several tense scenes that will be a bit much for younger viewers.
That said, this movie is filled with themes of faith, salvation, temptation to evil (which is negated and redeemed). There are references to 12 apostles and a scene reminicent of the Red Sea scene from the Charlton Heston and the 10 Commandments.
Most inspiring, though, is the portrayal of courage, love, loyalty and the willingingness to sacrifice oneself for others. Susan and Peter are both incredibly strong characters, yet her strength is within her feminity, while Peters is within his masculinity. If you are familiar with JPII's Theology of the Body, I think he would have liked this movie.
