For those of you who live in or near Gulfport, Mississippi, you are invited to a book signing this weekend, where you'll have the chance to meet a very special, young author.
Jessica Kelly, a recent graduate of St. John High School, will be signing her new book My Heart Exposed: A Collection of Poetry
Next year, Jessica will be a freshman at Franciscan University in Steubenville, studying English with a concentration in writing. I must say that I'm impressed with any 18 year old lady who can not only write and accomplish publication of a book, but who also has a heart large enough to donate her profits to other students for their benefit.
Our world needs more Jessica Kelly's! Please join me in supporting her work.

I'm a mom-at-home to four children(ages 4-13), living in Michigan after living in Hawaii most of my life . My husband's graduate studies took us to ND. Our second son was born in South Bend and baptized at the Log Chapel on Joe's graduation day.
If you are so inclined, check out my friend Rose Bogdan's Blog. Her son just graduated from ND and her most recent posts are all about this glorious celebration in this most spectacular university. "...Love Thee Notre Dame!"
It was stunning to me that some "Anon" person, midst all of the congratulations and good wishes for beautiful mom Rosemary, started posting anti-ND comments. Anon was handily put in her place, but I expect she's out there waiting to pounce again.
